Steamed Asparagus
Asparagus, a good source of nutrients.
Organic asparagus is hard to find and very expensive if there is any.
So this is non organic version, I prefer to buy during its season. In this case where we can find in abundance in the market. Not only it is cheaper during season time but also less pesticide or insecticides contamination. Anyway i usually wash and soak in salty water for a short while before i cook a non organic vegetables.
This is steamed asparagus, we should eat steamed food more than fried version, but steamed food is also easier to prepare for me. 10 minutes in a plate on top of boiling water in a covered wok, add organic extra virgin olive oil before serving.

丝瓜
This is one of the vegetables that i think should be relatively safe to eat without being organic. Simple cooking, just put ginger (I sometimes use organic ginger powder as fresh ginger is difficult to keep), stir fry and simmer it with some water. It is cheap, nutritious and easy to cook. It has skin so this ensure less contaminated compared to normal leafy vegetables.
